Weather-proof and designed for extreme environments, it features a high-efficiency solar panel that maximizes battery life. Linxup’s solar tracker provides location updates every 5 minutes when in motion and every 3 hours in standby mode.

Installing Your Solar Asset Tracker
Your solar tracker is set to shipping mode to preserve the battery. The device may arrive with a protective plastic film over the solar panel and an opaque sticker covering the ambient light sensor.
- Activate the device on the portal.
- If there is a light sensor cover, remove it.
- Press the power button for 5-10 seconds to begin the set up process.
NOTE: If your device does not have a power button on the bottom, it has a power switch on the side panel. Ensure this power switch is set to ON.
Once the light sensor is uncovered and the device is powered on, LEDs will illuminate, indicating the start up process has begun.
Solar Asset Tracker devices should be mounted on a flat surface. There are 2 common ways that you can secure the device:
- With included screws
- Magnets (optional accessory for purchase)
NOTE: Do not over tighten and do not bend the device. Do not use glue or other drying adhesives; they can block a small vent on the back of the tracker. Make sure it is installed in a location that has access to sunlight.
There is also a USB-C charging port on the right side of the device, secured by 2 screws. This can be beneficial when the battery level drops due to not having enough sun exposure. The charging cable is not included.
Install Positioning Matters
Not intended for use:
- Indoors
- Inside of metal casings
- Underground
- In remote “no cell coverage” areas
