                            1. Supply Power to Tracking Device and Camera
Look under the steering wheel to find the OBDII port and plug in the Y splitter. Plug in the OBD tracker and the camera’s OBD power adapter into either end of the Y splitter. Next, use the flexible cable ties to secure the cable under your dashboard and prevent any slack from hanging in the footwell.

                            1. Tuck Stick
Route the cable up the doorjamb to the windshield and extend it past the center of the dashboard. Use the Tuck Stick to hide the cable in the gap between the dashboard and windshield.
Image of the cable inserted into the suction beam on the dashboard
                            1. Suction Beam
Select a tail length (we recommend the 5” to start) and slide it onto the arm. Insert the cable ball into the beam and route the cable down to the notch on the tail. Center the beam on the dashboard and gently push the tail against the windshield. Moisten the suction cup. Lift and push the suction cup against the windshield using your thumb, then push the lever to securely lock in place.
We recommend using the shortest tail possible, so the driver has the best view forward. Longer tails may be needed to achieve the best inside camera view.

Plug the cable into the camera and mount it onto the beam. Use the Tuck Stick to tidy up any loose cable on the dashboard.

                            Hardwired Installation

This hardwired installation kit includes an adaptor that attaches to the Dash Cam's OBD power cable and can be wired to a vehicle's 12 volt electrical system.

All connections should be made in accordance with established automotive standards and should not be exposed to the elements. The Dash Cam is not weatherproof.

                            1. Locate a constant power source in the cab of the vehicle. The constant power source needs to have a minimum of 12 volts when ignition is off. The camera will power down if the voltage falls below 12 volts.
                            2. Connect the red wire to the constant power source.
                            3. locate a suitable grounding point. This is typically a chassis bolt that goes through the metal in the vehicle or an existing fastener on a metal bracket.
                            4. connect the black wire to the grounding point making sure that the wire is secure.
                            5. connect the Dash Cam OBD power cable to the power supply making sure the connectors are tucked up and out of the way. If necessary, use a zip-tie or other cable management device to ensure there is no stress on the wire connections.

                            Installing Stand Alone Dash Cam

NOTE: Stand Alone Dash Cam is compatible with light duty vehicles only.

                            1. Install the camera mount.
                              •  The steep mount is shown in the installation video below.
                            2. Install the camera to the mount.
                            3. Connect the ProCable directly into the vehicle's OBD port and to the camera.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.

                            Activation and Pairing

                            • If you are also setting up a new GPS tracker, begin with the Device Activation and Installation.
                            • If the GPS tracker is already activated, follow these instructions:
                            1. Once your camera is supplied power, it will begin downloading any available updates. When you see the logo and serial number on the screen, all updates have been completed and you can continue the activation process.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The camera MUST be powered on to activate.

                            1. Take note of your camera’s serial number. The serial number of your camera is also the activation code.
                              • Activation is best done on a desktop computer. If you only have your phone, take a photo of the camera's serial number with your mobile device to refer to later.
                            2. Log in to your portal. This is best done on a desktop computer.
                            3. Click ‘Setup’ > ‘Add a New Tracker’ > Select ‘Camera.’

                            • Your camera records even when you’re out of coverage. When you’re back in coverage, your videos will transfer to the cloud.
                            • Leave your Dash Cam plugged in. The camera provides 24/7 protection in and around your fleet, even with engines off.
                            • There’s a fan inside, working to keep things cool. It will automatically turn on as needed.
                            • Try different tail lengths. Shorter tails ensure a low-profile camera; longer tails improve the interior view.
